Mr. Campbell, is of considerable physique, which apparently

influenced the pirates to keep him under ologe guard all

the time.

The 3rd Engineer, Ar. Bird, a on watch in the

The End Engineer, Mr. Norrie, was held up just

The Wireless Operator was walking up and down out-

side his room when confronted by pirates with revolvera,

who did sufficient damage to the wireless apparatus to put

it out of action. The Operator did some very good work in

repairing his machine after the pirates left the ship and we snclogs our Wireless Superintendent's report thereon.

Captain Cole received a flesh wound in the left

leg which is not too bad, but his more serious injury is a bullet wound in the right groin. The Doctors are waiting until lessening of the inflammation before holding an X-ray, examination and he is progressing very favourably and keepli most cheerful. He had a lucky escape, as many shots missed

him before he was hit.
